Requirements:

To be qualified for the GS-12:
You must have at least one year of full-time specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level in the Federal service performing a variety of investigatory work. The following are examples of specialized experience:
  • participating in the development of investigative strategies
  • preparing subpoenas and discovery requests that pertain to the analysis, evaluation and relevance of evidence or issues which arise during the litigative/investigative process
  • conducting substantive research, evaluation and analysis of documents or records
  • managing evidence in electronic and hard copy formats and preparing for the use of it in each stage of the investigation/litigation
